Fri 12/15 @1PM
Santa is a busy man at this time of year, defying science to appear a multiple locations. Maybe you can ask him how he does it when he stops by the Cleveland Museum of Natural History on his holiday rounds.
His sleigh will drop him off at 1pm to lead an afternoon of activities including story times at 3pm and 5pm, cookie crafts at 1pm, 3:15pm and 5:15pm, and science experiments co-hosted by museum educator Lee Gambol at 2:30pm, 4:30pm and 6:30pm. All activities except cookie crafts are included with general admission; cookie crafts are $5.
You can also stick around afterwards for Friday Night Lights, the museum’s extended hours until 8pm running through December 29. There’ll be an original program in the Sharfan Planetarium called Eclipse Fever to get you psyched for next April’s total eclipse, 3D movies, science presentations, a DJ and guided walked through the Perkins Wildlife Center, as if you need a guide to tell you how adorable their four otters are!
If you buy a ticket any time during the day, you can stay until closing.
