If there were any lingering doubts about Hillary Clinton’s qualifications to become the first female president of the United States they should have been completely laid to rest by her recent debate performance against her rival Donald Trump. Her grasp of the issues, her demeanor, and above all, her comportment in the face of Trump’s demeaning and juvenile attempts to rattle her, clearly demonstrated that she is the far superior candidate.
In fact, it isn’t even close, unless one elects to live in the bubble of unreality inhabited by so many of Trump’s supporters. But even his hardcore nativists followers must be beginning to question his abilities after such a dismal debate performance — but on the other hand, probably not. Willful blindness is one of the true hallmarks of the political naïf.
President Obama recently said that Clinton is probably the best-qualified presidential candidate of all time, and he just might be right. Of course part of the reason she looked so good during the debate could be due to the fact that Trump looked so amazingly bad.
The fact that the demagogue could so easily dispatch the other 16 original Republican presidential contenders in the primaries, and then looked so amateurish against Clinton, speaks volumes in regards to the qualifications of what the GOP has to offer Americans.
Of course there is no such thing as the perfect candidate; all are going to have some warts. But in Trump’s case they’re more like boils. Clinton skillfully used many of the outlandish statements he made during the primaries (when he was wooing the conservative rightwing base of the GOP) against him by pointing out how he now is attempting to deny what is firmly on the record as being said by him in instance after instance. She didn’t allow him to get off the hook for even one minute.
This is the type of tenacity, quick-wittedness and experience that will allow Hillary Clinton to deal effectively with world leaders be they friend or foe, and live up to what President Obama said about her: That she’s the most qualified candidate for the presidency ever.

Acting is easy. First woman president? Also the first CRIMINAL president. Today it’s come out that the Justice Department granted her whole staff immunity before the FBI investigation. The fix was in. Such a person cannot have the interests of the country in mind.
Peanuts
The wrong woman, by far.
