Next weekend, the Cleveland Ballet unveils this year’s edition of its annua performances of that old holiday standby that never fails to enchant the kids, The Nutcracker, with ten performances at Playhouse Square’s Connor Palace Theatre between December 10 and December 21. But fervid ballet fans who want to support the company’s work can get a sneak peak at “Nutcracker on the Runway” at The Country Club (2825 Lander Road) in Pepper Pike.
In addition to excerpts from the upcoming performances, there’ll be a Lilly Pulitzer fashion show presenting in collaboration with Kent State University’s School of Fashion, and a Wonderland Market featuring a series of pop-up shops. It also includes a brunch, cash bar, raffles and photo ops with dancers from the Cleveland Ballet. And yes, it’s kid-friendly: there are children’s ticket prices available. Go here for tickets.
