Live From The Bus

03.07-03.14.12
Live From The Bus

This week, I’m riding the StartupBus from Ohio to Austin, TX in time for SXSW. “You and a team of strangers, on a bus traveling 60 miles per hour, have 72 hours to conceive, build and launch a startup.” We know that entrepreneurship is the future of our region, and this week I’m experiencing it from the inside out, and everyone’s invited to ride along. We’ll broadcast a live update on TV with our partners Western Reserve PBS at 6:57PM each night, and we’ll stream live video every day at NOON and 4PM on CoolCleveland.com. We’re offering $100 randomly to someone who follows this adventure by downloading our free mobile app for iPhone and Android, liking us on FB, following us on Twitter, and commenting on our postings. We’ll announce a winner in next week’s issue.

For those of you staying a little closer to home, we turn you on to the burgeoning open mic scene, clue you into T2P2, and point out a true plethora of foodie-related events: a melting pot dinner at Fire, a local chef’s event called Let’s Eat, Corks & Cupcakes, and a Chinese tea party. And we’ll see you on the bus.–Thomas Mulready
