Is a low-key New Year’s Eve just not your thing? If you have to greet the coming year in extravagant style, hustle on down to the Akron Civic Theatre for the New Year’s Eve Rainbow Ball, a benefit for the Akron Pride Festival.
Described as “the most glittering, colorful, inclusive NYE party ever,” it features food from Moe’s restaurant, a five-hour open bar, DJs playing music for dancing, queen appearances by Cherry Veneer and 2018 Miss Akron Pride Festival Alejandra J-Love, entertainment of various types and a raucous, blow-out midnight celebration. You’ll want to really dress to dazzle.
Tickets are $125. It’s a 21 and over event.
