The Cuyahoga County Public Library’s Parma Powers Branch is opening a summer art show titled Living Lines. Its theme is how lines, color and culture come together to create beauty in the world.
“Our identities are assemblages of the living pieces of ourselves, some of which are the things we share and hold in common that ground and keep us together, and some the unfamiliar and unique perspectives, personalities, and encounters that enrich and nurture us,” they tell us. Artists exploring how our stories can be interpreted in images inspired by our experiences include Kelly Pontoni, Jon Sedor, Alex Elerian and Drew Segur.
The show will open with a free, public reception on Monday July 14.
