The next group show at the Yards Project at Worthington Yards in the Warehouse District is called Pieces of Knowing, and it brings together the work of ten artists who embrace the unplanned. “Through collage, paint, metal and clay, they layer fragments, textures, and gestures guided less by rigid planning and more by a deep trust in intuition,” the gallery tell us. “The resulting works invite viewers to see decision-making not as a linear process, but as a conversation—between material and maker, thought and instinct, past and present.”
Artists in the show include Clare Murray Adams, Kelly Dietrick, Patty Flauto Marti Higgins John T. Howitt, Mary Platz Hughes, Jennifer Price, Mindy Tousley, Lisa Kenion and Robert Brinsley.
The show opens with a free public reception on Thursday July 23, and will be on view through September 2.
