University Circle Community Center Features Show of Work by Incarcerated Artists

Thu 10/30 @ 5:30-7PM

The Case Western Reserve University Community Engagement Center opened last year at 11310 Wade Park Avenue to give residents who live in the communities bordering University Circle a place where they can take part in some of educational and relationship opportunities available at CWRU.

This week, it opens an art show called One Art, One Community featuring work in a variety of styles and techniques by artists who are currently incarcerated, put together in partnership with In partnership with the Grafton Correctional institution, and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction.

The opening event on Thursday October 30, which is free and open to all, will feature food and community reflections on some of the works. After the opening, the show will be on view weekdays from 9am-5pm.
