Each year, DANCECleveland brings together aspiring dancers and community members for a free day of dance education and fun at Playhouse Square.
Starting at 10am you’ll find free classes open to people of all ages hosted by local professionals and student dance artists. Jump into a session on ballet, African drum & dance, contemporary dance, hip hop, flamenco, Polynesian, ballroom, jazz dance, tap, line dance and more. Maybe you’ll get hooked on something and want to sign up for more classes!
Then from 3-4pm, check out showcases where a local dance students will perform a variety of styles at the Allen Theatre. It’s free but reservations are recommended.
