Naturally 7 call what they do “vocal play.” The seven musicians are in essence a choir of scat singers/beat boxers, creating an orchestra of instruments using only their voices.
Formed in 1999 by brothers Roger and Warren Thomas, the unusual nature of what they do has garnered them all kinds of attention. They include the opportunity to tour and record with Michael Bublé, perform at special events such as Quincy Jones’ 75th birthday party, open for Jay Leno in Las Vegas and record with artists as diverse as Coldplay and Ludacris.
They’ll be at the Tri-C Metro Campus’s Main Auditorium.
