Author Talks About the Impacts of Climate Change

Wed 4/6 @ 5:30PM

Climate change is on many people’s minds, and if it’s not on yours, it should be. Its literally changing the way our world works. (Did you know that in the last few decades, northeast Ohio’s growing zone has changed a full step?)

CBS news correspondent David Pogue was formerly the New York Times tech columnist and has hosted 20 PBS NOVA science specials. And among the many books he’s written is How To Prepare for Climate Change, published last year.

That’s the topic of his program here in Cleveland at the Union Club, where’ll explain how climate change will alter our lives and how we can adjust to those changes (earlier planting, different crops). The event starts with a 5:30 reception, followed by the 6pm program with a Q&A.

Admission is $25 for non-members, $15 for members and $5 for students who should attend because you people will be the ones most affected. Go here to register.
