Apollo’s Fire, Cleveland’s Baroque Orchestra, has built an international reputation since its founding 28 years ago. It’s performed at major classical music festivals and venues across the U.S. and in Europe, selling out shows and earning rave reviews. It’s even snagged a Grammy. Its concerts feature some of the best professional musicians in this area and outstanding guest musicians.
For a long time, they haven’t been able to rehearse as an ensemble and they’re not touring right now (although a small ensemble will play their first concerts since late winter August 23-25 outdoors at three northeast Ohio venues). But they are offering music lessons via Skype, Facebook or Zoom at their Virtual Music School. And taking a class from such a top professional may be just the thing to revive your dormant enthusiasm for making music or jumpstart your child’s.
Rates vary by teacher and all money goes to the teacher, whether you pay them directly or use a credit card to pay through Apollo’s Fire. Go here to learn about the musicians and what the teach.
