Cleveland finger-style acoustic guitarist Doug Wood has been around the scene quite a while and been part of several projects, in addition to his solo work.
He was part of jazzy, instrumental folk group Watts Gnu in the 90s. More recently he’s performed with a guitar trio and another trio he dubbed Cellocentric, which has featured a revolving cast of musicians. In both ensembles, as well as in his solo work, the music draws on folk, classical music, pop new age, folk and more, combining original tunes with rearrangements of classics.
