It’s a little hard to picture Rhode Island-based trio Arc Iris doing an intimate house concert. So their upcoming show for Mechanic Street House Concerts — Ohio City residents Lynne and Joel’s living room — should be an adventure.
According to Lynne & Joel, “When they performed here in 2014, they redecorated our living room, wore costumes and put sequins on their faces. Let’s just say it wasn’t your average house concert. Arc Iris’s music is unique, complex and beautiful.”
The group just released their second album, Moon Saloon, which, their bio says, “showcases beat-heavy melodies and textural, groove-riding rhythms.” Layering acoustic and electronic sounds, the band’s keyboard player Zach Tenorio-Miller says “It has a heavier sound, more intense.”
To reserve your spot, shoot an email to mechanicstreetmusic@yahoo.com. It’s a $15 suggested donation, all of which goes to the band.
