Her work has appeared locally as well as in national publications such as Rolling Stone, NRP Music, The Los Angeles Times, Billboard and Stereogum, among many others. She’s also an editor with the 33 1/3 series in which writers delve in depth into a particular album. She herself has authored Duran Duran’s Rio (2021) for the series; she’s also written a book called Lady Gaga’s Applause (2022). And she’s got another coming out in the University of Texas Press series “why [musician/band] matters,” exploring Why the B-52’s Matter.

Meet her, learn about her career and have her sign a book when she appears at the Coventry branch of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library in conversation with Cleveland magazine editor Annie Nickoloff.
