Bellamy Printz’s show Time Elastic has hidden behind locked a Cleveland Heights’ Foothill Galleries for the past several months. And that’s too bad. Her evocative prints, based on old family photos, re-imagine her family history in layers of nostalgia, wistfulness and sadness made visual.
The show is coming to a close, alas, but there’s a last chance to see the work. The gallery is holding a closing reception that will be a little different from the usual schmooze and mingle affair. Only four visitors at a time will be allowed in the gallery (in addition to Printz and gallery owner Michael Weil) and you should call (216-287-3064) or email to schedule a 20-minute visit. Please wear a mask.
