There’s not a lot going on around town on Christmas Eve, one of the slowest nights of the year for clubs, theaters, museums and other establishments, which, if they’re open at all today, close early.
But the Grog Shop in Coventry Village will be hopping with when Self Inflicted Currency presents Dancehall on Coventry, Night Before Christmas edition. Described as “a colorful, exciting and high-energy party complete with Jamaican food and culture, there’ll be booty-shaking music provided Organik Sound, and a menu of Jamaican-style food available, including jerk chicken, curry chicken, rice & beans, white rice and cabbage.
Doors open at 10pm; it’s $10 in advance, $20 at the door.
