Windsong, Cleveland’s Feminist Chorus, Displays Its Heart & Soul in Lakewood

The upcoming concert by Windsong, Cleveland’s feminist chorus, is called “The Heart and Soul of Windsong.” That heart and soul will be expressed in an afternoon of songs by writes such as Holly Near, Alice Parker, Jan C. Snow, Joan Szymko and Ysaye Barnwell.

Argerie Vasilakes narrates a program led by artistic director Heather Russell and accompanied by Karin Tooley on piano. There will be a reception afterward where you can meet the women who sing and learn more about the ensemble. It takes place at the Lakewood Presbyterian Church. Tickets are $13 in advance, $15 at the door. Children 12 and under are $5.
