Wide-Ranging Singer/Songwriter Mark Erelli Performs at Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall

Fri 10/19 @ 8PM

New England-based singer/songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist Mark Erelli has performed and recorded with artists such as Lori McKenna, Paula Cole, Anais Mitchell and Josh Ritter. But he’s always maintained a parallel solo career, releasing his first album in 1999.

Since then he’s done a series of diverse projects, ranging from a tribute album to the late New England folkie Bill Morrissey to a bluegrass collaboration called Barnstar! to an album of murder ballads with fellow singer/songwriter Jeff Foucault. His 16th album, Mixtape, features covers of tunes such as the Grateful Dead’s “Brokedown Palace,” Don Henley’s “The Boys of Summer” and Neko Case’s “Deep Red Bells.”

Erelli will be performing an evening of his diverse music at Peninsula’s G.A.R Hall. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
