Seems like every jam band has its own festival and the Dayton/Columbus band The Werks is no different. Its annual Werk Out Music & Arts Festival takes place this year August 3-5 at Legend Valley east of Columbus, featuring more than three dozens bands with the Werks headline each night.
They’re giving an upcoming or less well-known band a shot at a slot with its competition taking place at the Beachland Ballroom. Bands vying for that coveted gigs are Red Rose Panic, Treespeak, Psychic Relief, Ebb N Flow and Coup de Grace. Those in attendance get to make the decision so expect the five bands to try to pack the room with their fans. Admission is $10.
