Mushroomhead Brings a Krampus Christmas to the Agora

Fri 12/27 @ 7PM

The Krampus is a folkloric creature, a demon who allegedly appears during the Christmas season to punish children who haven’t been good. When it appears in the title of a holiday show, such as the Mushroomhead Krampus Christmas concert, taking place at the Agora, it suggests that any hint of holiday spirit will be a little dark and threatening.

And that’s pretty much how Cleveland’s Mushroomhead have been rolling during their 25 years of music making. Their distinctive music incorporates metal, electronic, goth and hip hop elements into a vast panorama of sound, and they’re famous for their creatively edgy presentation featuring intricate sets, and masks and costumes that make them seem a bit, well, demonic. Who’s the krampus?

Joining them for the Agora show are Half Raised Heathens, Inducing Panic and Syringe. Tickets are $25 in advance $30 day of show.
