This weekend, Art House Inc in the Brooklyn Centre neighborhood is hosting its 8th annual iteration of a fun event: its Artist Inventory Challenge.
For this event, it invites a group of area artists to come, and bring their overflow of materials to combine with Art House’s own overstock and create stuff on the spot to be sold to benefit the nonprofit arts group. You can come and watch art being created and then take some home.
The list of about 20 participating artists is divers, including local art stars and rising artists. Liz Maugans, Kasumi, Laila Voss, Amelia Casiano, Susi Underwood, Tanya Gonzalez, Micah Kraus, Melinda Placko and Rahamel Lockett are just a few of the artist signed up.
