Now that the holiday preparation craziness is over, and the friends and relatives are out the door, why don’t you mosey on down to Visible Voice Books in Tremont and hang out?
Tonight is its monthly open mic poetry night, hosted by local poets Nicole Hennessy and Russell Vidrick. If you’re a writer, bring something to share. It doesn’t have to be poetry either; any kind of work is welcome. If you’re merely a poetry lover, bring along your favorite poem to read. Or just sit and listen to others read — that’s OK too. Wine and beer are available; Crust Pizza is downstairs if you’re hungry. And there are lots of books to browse — time to buy yourself a gift!
