You can come out to the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes anytime to walk the trails, identify the trees and look for wildlife and birds. But you can come on Saturday morning February 21, when the Nature Center and the Rotary Club of the Heights of Greater Cleveland host Pancake Breakfast with the Birds.
OK, you don’t literally have to share your homemade pancakes with the birds. You can eat and then join a naturalist to learn about the habits of local birds and take a guided nature hike to see them in their natural setting. There’ll also be a craft for the kids. The event is friendly for all ages and kids under 3 are free.
