The Rock Hall wraps up its Women’s History Month programming with a panel that’s sure to expose one of the more difficult aspects of the music business for women: a women in the touring music industry panel.
It will feature the voices of three women who have operated in the overwhelmingly male arena of backstage and tour support, yet they’ve managed to land gigs with some of rock pop and country’s biggest names: Carolyn Snell, who has worked with John Mayer, Reba McIntyre and Janet Jackson; Annie DiBiasi, who’s toured with Joan Jett, The Who and Heart; ad Jessica Squire, whose resume includes Def Leppard and Aerosmith. They’ll talk about the challenges they face & how the pandemic has affected their work. Shelby Morrison, the Rock Hall’s director of artist relations and curatorial operations, moderates. Go here to tune in.
