Sun 10/18 @ 1:30PM
The three jazz musicians coming together at the Treelawn on Sunday October 18 for an afternoon of jazz called If I Were a Bell come from far-flung locations.
Pianist Gediminas Karkauskas is a Lithuanian musician who has lived in Dublin, Ireland for 25 years, and performed throughout Europe and in the U.S. Double bassist/composer Cormac O’Brien is from Ireland where he is a university professor in addition to being a much-traveled musician like his friend Karkauskas. Drummer Vincent Davis’s international career sprang from the Rust Belt: he was born in Chicago and moved to Milwaukee to study at the Milwaukee Conservatory of Music.
They’ll bring their expertise and experience together in a concert sponsored by the Cleveland Lithuanian Community. Get tickets HERE.
