The Sunday current events series, Forums That Matter, at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland in Shaker Heights, continues with a red-hot issue that’s certain to provoke widespread interest: “Will Resource-Hungry Data Centers Devour Ohio?”
The speaker, Molly Bryden, is a researcher for Climate & Sustainability at the progressive think tank Policy Matters Ohio. She’ll provide some facts and figures about their energy consumption and their impact on the environment and what it means that Ohio already has more than 200 date center, including some hyperscale ones, with more being planned, the fourth highest number of all states. She’ll share what questions we should ask and what we can do about this.
The forum is free and open to all. You can also watch on Zoom.
