Future Ink Graphics (FIG), which operates out of the Pivot Center for Art, Dacne and Expression on Cleveland’s west side, provides working space, education and resources for artists, designers and young people who want to expand their knowledge of the print and graphic arts. It also hosts a gallery where it presents regular shows.
FIG recently announced a new nonprofit initiative called the FIG Foundation to expand the work it does, especially its outreach in the community. This Saturday, October 10, it will host an official launch party for the FIG Foundation. The event will include food and refreshments, a cash bar, raffle prizes, music by DJ Terry, the opportunity to screen print a poster and live painting by Nathalie Bermudez. You can also meet some of the artists who work and teach at FIG, as well as the Foundation’s board members, and learn more about the opportunities it offers.
The event is free; get your ticket HERE.
