Chef’s Garden Celebrates the Harvest with a Fall Festival

Sat 10/17 @ 9AM-3PM

Fall is a great time to drive out in the country when all the farmers markets and farm stands are brimming with harvest.

That includes Chef’s Garden in Huron, where its expanded farm market is open all week offering its array of locally grown produce, meat, baked goods and handcrafted items made by area artists. The bins are always filled with seasonal treats: apples, carrots, potatoes and more.

But if you come out on Saturday October 17, you can do more than just pick up the makings of a healthy meal. During the annual Farm Festival, there are nearly two dozen additional vendors selling teas, jewelry, pottery, candles, herbs and more; live music by Steve Brownell; food trucks; fun for kids including face painting (!) by Miss Vicki; plenty of pumpkins to choose from; and the chance to just stroll around the grounds and soak in the outdoor ambience.

There’s no admission fee.
