Zoo’s Asian Lantern Festival Concludes with a Drone Show

Sat 9/12 @ 6PM

As expected, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo extended its Asian Lantern Festival (as it does almost every year) from late August to mid-September.

But all good things must come to an end, and so does the Asia Lantern Festival on Saturday September 12. And it ends with a band: a spectacular new choreographed drone light show, starting at 9pm, weather permitting. The 10-12-minute-long show concludes an evening in which ticketholders can first see the lighted installations and stroll through the walk-through tunnels, as well as enjoy the other activities, including music, games and food.

The drone show can be observed throughout the path of the installation, although they recommend and open location with a clear sky view and no obstructions blocking the sky above Waterfowl Lake. There will be designated viewing zones with signage to help you find a good spot.

Rain date is Sunday September 13. Go here for tickets.
