The West Creek Conservancy’s mission is to protect the waterways and natural habitats in our community, restoring habitats, wetlands, wood and streams to provide clean, vibrant outdoor areas, with walking and biking trails which we can enjoy for recreation and our own health. The group collaborates with other community organizations and volunteers to work on restoration and cleanup projects.
Like all nonprofits, it needs to raise money so it’s hosting it annual benefit called Up! A Creek, marking 29 years of conservation work in this region. It will include food stations, drinks, raffle baskets, games, two live bands, dancing, an auction and a late-night snack, as well as the chance to meet new people who are just as passionate about protecting the environment as you are.
