The St. Clair Superior Development Corporation hosts community events, volunteer efforts, block clubs and other activities to bring residents together and instill pride in the community.
This week, it’s hosting a fun, inexpensive event to pay for those activities: its Second Annual Silent Disco Fundraiser. It takes place outdoor at the St. Clair Plaza, 6321 St. Clair Avenue. At a silent disco, each dancer gets a pair of wireless headphones, and they can choose from several DJ soundtracks, tuning into the music that appeals to them while others around them may be dancing to something else. They promise disco, old-school fund and R&B, and 2000s pop, which sounds like it should appeal to a wide range of ages.
And tickets are just $10 so you can bring family and friends. Money goes to the Where Good Things Are Happening fall fundraiser for community engagement programs. Get tickets or donate HERE.
