Caterpillars are one of the many creatures who are significant pieces of our ecosystem. Anyone who loves butterflies knows that caterpillars are one of their life stages. If you’d like to know more about their lives and what they contribute to the natural world, check out The Extraordinary Caterpillar, an hour-long documentary spotlighting the work of The Caterpillar Lab, where researchers David Wagner and Doug Tallamy have delved into the role of native plants and their host insects.
It will have a one-time screening at the Capitol Theatre in Gordon Square, hosted by the Western Reserve Land Conservancy. And after the screening Renee Boronka will host a panel discussion and Q&A featuring Amy Roskilly of Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District and Dave Tomashefski of Meadow City Nursery. Admission is $10.
