September is bursting with art fairs, and in Oberlin, that means it’s time for FAVA Art on the Square, taking place at Tappan Square. More than 100 artists and makers will be showing and selling art of all kinds from jewelry to oil paintings. Community resource corridor will host tables from organizations such as Head Start, the Oberlin Arts & Culture Walk, Earth Spirit Temple, The Oberlin Democratic Party, the Girl Scouts and more.
In addition, the live music stage will feature some really topnotch local bands including swamp rockers Cats on Holiday, rock & roll guitarist/singer/songwriter Brent Kirby, and Tall Paul & Western Drawl, doing western swing, boogie-woogie and cowboy songs. There will be food trucks onsite as well. It’s free and open to all.
