Want to learn more about the Akron Symphony’s upcoming season and do a bit of socialized as well? Come down to Jilly’s Music Room where representatives from the symphony with give a rundown of their seven regular season concerts, and some announcements about other programs and events. They’re also teasing that they’ll be revealing “the launch of something new for our biggest AOS fans.” The ASO season opens October 17 at EJ Thomas Hall with a program headlined by 19th century French composer Hector Berlioz’s Symphony fantastique.
The event is free and open to the public; no reservations are needed, although you’re welcome to RSVP here if you like. The bar and kitchen open at 5, so come early and order a drink and some food.
