Cleveland-based fashion designer Valerie Mayén has long been known for her high-quality wearable, timeless clothing as well as her creative marketing and the special events she has put on over the years under the banner of her Yellowcake Shop.
This weekend, she’s the force behind a Glam Rock Fashion show in partnership with Lago Custom Events. Inspired by David Bowie, Queen, and Prince, the show will present glittering, dramatic looks in a runway show at Lago East Bank.
“This runway presentation explores style as a form of self-expression, confidence, and creative identity,” explains the press release. “The collection highlights intentional design, strong silhouettes, and statement pieces created for women who lead, create, and move with purpose.”
