Wed 8/12 @ 5-8PM
Each Wednesday evening all summer, the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes comes up with an intriguing event or activity to draw people to enjoy nature.
This week, they’ll be offering two activities: a “Waxing Moon Sound Bath” and a restoration hike. Liz from Waxing Moon Sound will lead one group in a sound bath and guided mediation, while Nature Center Natural Resources Manager will lead another group on a hike to learn about the center’s recently completed restoration work on their grounds, focusing on how it’s been removing invasive plants since 2019 and replacing them with native plants. The hike is free; there’s a $30 for members, $35 for non-members fee for the sound bath. Register for that HERE. Register for the hike HERE.
