Northeast Ohio author Jack Ricchiuto has written 39 books on all sorts of topics, most of them with a “ways to improve your life” tilt.
His latest is called The Hidden Life of Words, and it explores how the language used can actually change reality. The books description tells us, “When our language changes, so does our reality. This isn’t poetic metaphor—it’s neurological fact. This happens below the threshold of consciousness, making the power of words the most invisible yet influential force in our lives.”
It adds, “This groundbreaking book reveals how the language you use in every moment of thinking and talking literally constructs your reality, your relationships, your health, and your world. The difference between being productive and unproductive, caring and not caring, kind and unkind is the language you think and speak.”
Ricchiuto, who is now a resident of Hudson, will be talking at the Learned Owl Bookshop there, and signing copies of the new book. The event is free and open to all.
