The nonprofit bookstore The Reading Room found a permanent location in the Kamm’s Corners neighborhood where it offers donated books of all types for sale (including kids’ books) — with the profits going to support literacy programs. It says its goal is to fight injustice and inequality in our schools. As one might expect, it also hosts events and meet-ups that are in line with its inclusive and justice-based mission. They also have their own coffee roast and feminist candles. Open 11am-7pm Wednesday through Saturday. Hang out, read a book!
