Fri 3/6
The Waterloo Arts District was packed for the March Walk All Over Waterloo art walk, thanks to some welcome unseasonably warm spring weather. People crowded galleries to see opening of the popular annual Dayglo show at Waterloo Arts, work by Fred Gerhardt and Lisa Kenion at Article, Rick Rollenhagen’s sculpture at Maria Neil Art Project and the closing of Michael Gill’s woodblock bicycling prints at William Busta Projects where the launch of the spring issue of CAN Journal, Cleveland’s visual arts quarterly, was also being celebrated.
If you were in the mood for music, you could’ve caught Sadhu and Theresa May playing at Praxis Fiber Workshop’s Gallery, Shake (pronounced Shaky) Ground cranking out the reggae at the Treelawn, and the Jacks Fords celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Bent Outta Shape at the Beachland Tavern.
