Ferrets are adorable. playful, and make great pets, if you know how to care for them. Alas, some people don’t or can’t, or most tragically, let them loose, thinking they can adapt to the wild.
This is where Avon-based Ferrets Unlimited steps in. They take in and rehome abandoned ferrets and those whose owners can’t keep them anymore. And they need resources to provide this care, which is why they’re holding Ferret Fest 2026 at Rookie’s Sports Bar & Grill in Parma Heights across from Southland Shopping Center. Tickets include all you can eat food (including vegan food), all you can drink of certain draft beers, wine, coffee, iced tea and fountain soda, and the chance to talk to the rescue team and learn more about adoptable ferrets in their care.
