The next show presented by the new nonprofit organization for photographic media, Photo Cleveland, is called Forget Me Not: Memories of Unwritten Chapters. It opens February 7 (reception 6-9pm) at the Brownhoist and will be on view through February 27. They are accepting submissions for the group show through Monday January 19.
Here’s how they describe what they’re looking for: “To coincide with February and the theme of love surrounding it, we are looking for submissions that express your personal experience associated with love in the context of memories encompassing loss, regret, longing, things left unsaid, and what it means to you. This could be a lost love, friend, family member, and even the loss of oneself.”
While they’re planning the show to be mostly photocentric, they’re open to photography, videography and mixed-media art as well if it expresses the show’s theme.
