Chagrin Falls has had its New Year’s Eve popcorn ball drop since 2012 and now Parma is responding with its first annual Pierogi Drop. At midnight it plans to drop what is most likely a facsimile of a pierogi (it’s hard to imagine using a giant stuffed dumpling for such an event) at 5994 State Street.
State Road will be blocked between Dawnshire Drive & Wellington Blvd for celebrants who are invited tro hang out in Sloppy Bob’s parking lot, enjoy food and drink from Sloppy Bob’s, Good Olde Daze, Red Circle Bar & Lanes and food trucks, listen to live music and after the big pierogi comes down, that Cleveland favorite: fireworks!
