There’s Yet Another Opportunity to “Touch a Truck” at Metroparks Brookside Reservation

Sun 9/21 @ 10AM-2PM

The love affair between kids and heavy vehicles is really heating up — the number of “Touch-a-Truck” events on the calendar is proliferating.

One such event will make its return to Cleveland Metroparks’ Brookside Reservation this Sunday. There, for four hours, kids (and adults) can indulge in their attraction to big machines with wheels and other working vehicles: bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, dump tricks, front-end loaders, bucket trucks and police cars, among others. To sweeten the pot—and this pot doesn’t need much sweetening—there’ll be a 40-ton sandbox, a trackless train and costume characters—dressed up as trucks? Who know? Go see! It’s not only free, but anyone attending will get a $5 discounted admission coupon to the nearby Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for the same day. So plan a full-day family outing!
