The annual Waterloo Arts Fest once again showcased the diversity of the neighborhood and its vibrant arts and cultural community, as musicians played on eight stages and booths lined the street for more than three blocks with vendors, hands-on art making opportunities, community organizations of all types and social service nonprofits. You could register to vote or support the care of cats in the area. You could paint rocks, meet the councilman, check out wonderful artwork, enjoy food from vegan to BBQ and pet someone’s dog. And the weather was perfect!
