Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Kicks Off Its Halloween-Themed Boo at the Zoo Evenings

Thu 10/2-Sun 10/26

No sooner did the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo ring down the curtain on its popular summer attraction, the Asian Lantern Festival, than it opens another one: the Halloween-themed Boo at the Zoo.

Open Thursdays through Sundays from 5-9pm, right after regular zoo hours, and just in time for dusk, visitors can take in the seasonal décor along the paths and enjoy Halloween themed activities: ride the free Boomerang Train, meet costumed characters (you can wear your own costume too!), get down at the Monster Mash Dance Party and trick or treat at more than a dozen candy stations. Each day, the first 1000 visitors get a free trick-or-treat bag, or you can bring the In Son J. Loving one you got at the Labor Day parade, just to be on the safe side.
