Shop Local at a Country Maker Market — the Peninsula Flea

Sat 7/5 @ 10AM-4PM

One of the area’s most bucolic summer markets is the Peninsula Flea which is back for the tenth years on the grounds of Heritage Farms.

Each month a slightly different lineup of artists, makers, vendors and food trucks fills several spacious outdoor areas on the farm, which features two barns, a gazebo and lots of tree-shaded areas, as well as a view of its Christmas tree farm. Come out and spend a leisurely day; plenty of food and drink are available for a lunch or snack break. There’s entertainment too. This month Andrew Bonnis plays from 10am-noon, with blues acoustic slide guitarist/vocalist Austin Walkin’ Cane performing from 12:30-2:30pm

Admission is free and there’s plenty of free parking.

Future market dates are July 26 and August 9.
