Sat 7/12 @ 8AM-noon
The North Union Market at Shaker Square — the first of its network of markets and one of two to run year-round — is always a fun place to be on a Saturday morning, with piles of fresh locally grown and made edibles to browse.
But this Saturday, the fun will be amplified as the market hosts its 30th anniversary celebration there. In addition to be food and arts/craft vendors, there’ll be live music and other entertainment including a performance especially for kids, games and other activities for kids (face painting is on the menu!), free cake served by market co-founder Donita Anderson and a special recognition of the farmer’s longest-running vendors and farmers. It’s free and open to all.
