Cleveland Heights Greek Fest Offers Four Days of Food, Drink, Entertainment and Culture

Thu 7/24 @ 4-9PM

Fri 7/25 @ 4-11PM

Sat 7/26 @ noon-11PM

Sun 7/27 @ noon-8PM

Northeast Ohio has quite a few Greek Fests, but one of the biggest is the one hosted by Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Cleveland Heights.

For four days, you can feast on Greek food, drink and culture. And food is definitely a main attraction at events such as these with dinners served inside the church and in a tent outside. Souvlaki, moussaka, saganaki, gyros, baklava, pastitsio (one of my Aunt Catherine’s specialties), maybe even some spanakopita (another of her specialties) will be available along with beer, wine and spirits at the taverna.

Meanwhile, there’ll be live music and dancing representing different parts of Greece, as well as cooking demonstrations so you can try to recreate the food at home and church tours to learn more about the Greek Orthodox faith.

Also this year, the festival is raising funds for Greater Cleveland Food Bank in addition to the church, helping to address the cuts in food assistance that will cause many people in need to go hungry. They will match every dollar donated up to $10,000

Admission is free; and there’s also a free shuttle from Severance Town Center.
