Fri 6/6
The weather was perfect for June’s Walk All Over Waterloo art & music Friday so a lot of activity moved outside. The galleries were still hoping of course, with Kristen Cliffel’s extraordinary ceramics show at William Busta Projects having its final night, the work of Pita Brooks down the hall at Maria Neil, and photo-based work by Steven Mastroianni and ink drawing by Elisa Albrecht across the street at Waterloo Arts. The Tower Stage outside Waterloo Arts was rocking to Joey Beltram’s Good Morning Valentine and Guy Snowdon & the Gentleman, while outside NuLife Fitness a mini-festival was going on featuring a soul band, vendors and vegan food. And in the Blue Windmill garden, a group of women were Zumba’ing their hearts out.
